Garrette Backie is the visionary CEO and Founder of Clutch Solutions, with 30 years of experience in the IT industry. His strategic and growth mindset has led him to successfully found three companies, each contributing to his legacy of innovation and leadership.

Career Journey
Garrette is an experienced Board Member with a proven track record in the information technology and services/solution industry, working with both commercial enterprises and government agencies. He founded Clutch Solutions and its divisions, which are proudly recognized as a Native Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and the Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council (CAMSC).

Commitment to Community
Affiliated with the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians in Michigan, Garrette is deeply committed to giving back to the community. Through Clutch Solutions, he dedicates significant efforts to volunteering, donations, and involvement in various initiatives. Garrette is a Sequoyah Fellow with AISES and emphasizes the cultural impact of his work, not only within the Arizona community but across North America. He also volunteers as head coach for child athletics and as a fundraising coordinator, actively supporting and contributing to his local community.

Academic Achievements
Garrette attended Michigan State University, where he was a member of the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. He furthered his education at the Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth, equipping him with the knowledge and skills that have been instrumental in his leadership and entrepreneurial success.
