The client is a federal government agency with over 5,000 employees and an annual IT budget of $150 million. They were operating with legacy on-premises data centers, which made their IT environment complex and resulted in limited visibility into assets and dependencies. The agency needed a solution that would allow them to overcome these obstacles and migrate seamlessly to the cloud. 

The Challenge

The third and final phase was the migration execution. Clutch Solutions implemented automated migration tools, established secure cloud landing zones, and conducted a phased migration of applications to minimize service disruption. Throughout this process, they performed continuous compliance monitoring to ensure a smooth transition.

The solution utilized a FedRAMP-authorized public cloud platform, Clutch Solutions’ proprietary asset discovery platform, and FedRAMP-compliant security tools. The migration was executed using an enterprise-grade cloud migration suite, ensuring the agency’s transition to the cloud was both secure and efficient.

Security and compliance were also key achievements, with the agency attaining 100% FedRAMP compliance, reducing security vulnerabilities by 92%, and experiencing zero security incidents during the migration. Asset management saw major improvements, with 98% accuracy in the asset inventory, 85% improvement in asset utilization, and 95% coverage in application dependency mapping.
